How this THRESHOLD tier list works

THRESHOLD’s Roblox BETA does not ship a gigantic gacha unit roster. Chase Mode progression is about perks, tools, and player habits that shorten Eli and Scrow escapes while feeding cash, XP, and leaderboards. This list only ranks things the community can verify today: Godspeed, flashlight management, batteries, radar, keys/pages objective focus, hiding, and mic/chat discipline. No fake mythic swords, no invented limited auras.

Criteria (weighted for public lobbies and solos):

  1. Impact on clear consistency
  2. Impact on time (especially Scrow)
  3. Skill floor—does it save beginners or only experts?
  4. Opportunity cost in the cash/XP path

Patch shifts will be noted on the Updates Hub. Cross-check routes in Chase Mode, Eli keys, and Scrow.

S-tier

Godspeed (perk)

Godspeed is the clear S-tier Chase perk: about +50% walk and +50% sprint. On Scrow, it turns page rings and food court resets into speedrun territory—sub-minute solos exist when RNG pages cooperate. On Eli, faster wing rotations mean more keys before the hearing spiral collapses. Cash/XP value also lines up because faster clears print more progression per hour.

Priority: unlock and equip Godspeed before dabbling in novelty. If your loadout screen offers it and you are still running default move speed on Scrow leaderboard attempts, you are choosing pain.

Mic & chat discipline (meta skill)

Ranked S-tier as a “virtual perk.” The entity hears microphone and chat. A silent player with average routing beats a Godspeed player who laughs into voice chat inside a closet. Push-to-talk bursts only. Teach your stack in lobby, not mid-chase. This skill costs zero cash and wins more runs than any script on the Scripts Hub.

A-tier

Flashlight management + batteries

Seeing the map without painting every hide for the monster is an art. Looting batteries on sight, killing the beam in safe pockets, and budgeting power for gate/keypad approaches belongs in A-tier for both maps—and is mandatory identity for Eli. Dead flashlight turns large maintenance wings into coin-flip deaths.

Radar (Eli-focused tool)

Once you can pay the battery cost (players often plan around three batteries of power budget), radar upgrades stalled key hunts into directed plays. A-tier because it is situationally game-winning on Eli yet useless if you never bank batteries—or if you ping radar while loudly panicking. Details in the Eli guide.

Hiding fundamentals

Breaking line of sight, holding still, and combining mute + dark light is A-tier consistency. Hiding does not raise move speed, but it converts otherwise lost runs when page/key RNG is mid.

B-tier

Raw objective focus (keys / pages)

Knowing that Eli wants three maintenance keys and Scrow wants pages → RNG keypad sounds basic, yet many public lobbies tourist the mall. B-tier only because it should be assumed—when missing, it feels like F-tier. Keep a notepad for Scrow digits; never confuse them with promo codes (none known as of Oct 2026).

Duo role calling

Simple role splits (scout / battery porter / keypad anchor) land in B-tier: huge upside in coordinated stacks, muted value in solo queue. See party notes inside Chase Mode.

C-tier

Open-mic “content creator” habits

Entertaining for viewers, terrible for clears. C-tier if your goal is vibes; F-tier if your goal is leaderboards. Mentioned here so stacks can set expectations before queue.

Script dependence (ESP / speed commands)

Universal ESP and Infinite Yield exist—documented with warnings on Scripts—but relying on them ranks low for long-term skill and high for ban/malware risk. They can highlight keys/pages yet cannot mute your mic for you. Treat as C-tier crutches at best.

D-tier and below

Trusting Scrow dialogue

Believing “this place is safe” lines is free elo donation. Scrow lures; keep moving.

Hoarding batteries forever without spending on radar when stuck

Sharing last lobby’s Scrow password as a “code”

Skipping Getting Started and dying to controls confusion

Cash, XP, and leaderboards

Chase escapes pay cash and XP. That economy gates perk access (including Godspeed) and fuels replay. Leaderboards celebrate strong Scrow times and determined Eli clears. Fair play recommendation: earn times without executor speed stacks so comparisons mean something.

Spend order we recommend for new grinders:

  1. Whatever unlocks or enables Godspeed
  2. QoL that protects flashlight uptime
  3. Experiments only after you can clear Eli and Scrow on demand

Social freebies (like the experience, join Fe & Zy) are covered on Codes—they are not a substitute for Chase payouts.

Map-specific meta snapshots

Eli: Mic discipline + batteries + keys pattern + radar when stalled. Godspeed still excellent for rotations.
Scrow: Godspeed + page ring + keypad discipline + ignore bait VO. Batteries matter but page RNG defines the ceiling.
Story DESPAIR: Tier list mostly N/A—play for clues at Blox Street 12, then return to Chase.

How often we will update ranks

When Fe & Zy ship new perks, nerf Godspeed, or add Chase maps, this hub will move rows and link patch notes from Updates. Until then, do not invent item names. If a screenshot shows a new perk, verify it in-game before treating it as meta.

Practical loadout checklist

  • Godspeed equipped for ranked Scrow attempts
  • Mic muted by default
  • Battery loot reflex on Eli
  • Radar plan only after power banked
  • Hide kit: dark light + silence
  • Pages/keys objective tracked
  • No reliance on fake promo codes

Play the list, not the hype. In THRESHOLD, silence and Godspeed beat vanity every time.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about Chase Mode, Story DESPAIR, codes, and escapes.

What is the best perk in THRESHOLD Chase Mode?

Godspeed is the clear S-tier pick thanks to its large walk and sprint speed bonuses, especially on Scrow.

Why is mic discipline on a perk tier list?

Because hearing rules make silence more valuable than most items. It functions like a free S-tier survival perk.

Do you rank Story Mode items?

Episode 1 DESPAIR is investigation-focused. This hub targets Chase perks, tools, and habits that affect repeated clears.

Should I buy cosmetics before Godspeed?

No. Prioritize Godspeed and flashlight uptime. Cosmetics do not open Eli’s gate or Scrow’s keypad.

Will this list add more named items later?

Only when the BETA confirms new perks or tools. We will not invent names beyond known systems like Godspeed, radar, batteries, keys, and pages.
